This thermodynamics course is aimed at first-year students of the common core of higher engineering education in the field: sciences and technologies and materials sciences.

The manuscript complies with the thermodynamics programs approved by the ministry. Its didactic presentation is the result of several years of teaching experience of the author. Its content results from reading numerous works and documents, most of which are cited in the bibliographical references.
