This course is taught to undergraduate students in public works in order to acquire the basic knowledge on the reinforced concrete and its physical and mechanical properties as well as to learn the design of reinforced concrete structures subjected to axial (tensile and compressive) loads and bending according to French (BAEL91-updated 99) and Algerian (CBA93) Codes.
