The "Universal History of Biological Sciences" course aims to highlight the history of biology through the ages and civilizations, and how the latter have tried to answer the question of life. This leads us to spotlight the place of technical progress in the development of experimental and natural sciences which subsequently gives rise to new biological sciences such as genetics and molecular biology.
